13 Steps to make Your Own Peanut Butter at Home

13 Steps to make Your Own Peanut Butter at Home

I can't believe we HAVE it in our mind to buy Peanut Butter. Why?

To make peanut butter all you have to do is get peanuts and add them to the food processor, or a blender. Wa-la it's peanut butter. Who knew right!

My Mom was at the grocery store today looking for peanut butter with no added chemicals, sugars, salts and oils. Guess what, good luck - it's not easy to find! So I said, grab some peanuts and let's make our own.

When you buy peanuts at the grocery store, 9 out of 10 times they've already been salted and toasted. Well at this store anyway. You can find unsalted too. So, we grabbed a bag of peanuts and took them home.

This is the 13 Step Process on how to make peanut butter.

  1. Open the bag of peanuts
  2. Smell the peanuts, because it's so necessary
  3. Take a handful and put them in your mouth.
  4. Try not to take another handful.
  5. Put the bag of peanuts in the food processor
  6. Close the lid
  7. Turn the processor on
  8. Let run for 2-3 minutes
  9. Scrape down the sides, see if it needs more blending
  10. Continue blending
  11. Grab a mason jar
  12. Fill the jar
  13. Wa-La you have peanut butter! Can you believe it?
